Champignon Sauce With Curcuma

Champignon or Mushroom sauce is kind of side dish or speciality which can be made in so many different varieties, depending what is really the purpose in the meal. If it is a sauce and has to be creamy and more like liquid for some kind of main course, then is the classical way. If it is a plane side dish and have to be more dense then you can play with that too. Well, as you wish of course, cooking is kind of art, and you are the master at your kitchen, or you will become a master with the time. The secret is to find out what to do, to make a difference or to add a spice more, like for example we did with curcuma or on other name turmeric. Exploration is always a challenge. Of course, some people like classics and they do not like to explore, that is also alright, but for us. We like to design a life in colorful and interesting way. Ingredients for the Champignon Sauce with Curcuma:
2 medium sized Onions
2 Garlic Cloves
200ml Heavy Cream
1 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Curcuma Powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp dried Parsley Leaves
Preparation of the Champignon Sauce with Curcuma:
- Peel the Onions and Garlic and dice them.
- Wash the Champignons and slice them up.
- Sauté a few minutes Onion and Garlic on Olive Oil.
- Stir in Champignons , Salt and Pepper and sauté until the water evaporates.
- Stir in Heavy Cream, Parsley and Curcuma, simmer until sauce has tickened, stirring occasionally.
